餐廳不難找,就在時代廣場附近的一幢商廈。八時抵達只有兩枱客人在用膳,店員友善地來我與友人二人到了一張寬闊的四人枱,隨後奉上了麵包和2杯Welcome Drinks。麵包可以塗上羅勒醬或欖油和黑醋;Welcome Drink 可選紅酒或白酒。餐湯點了Chicken Soup,店員遞上了一只大圓碟,碟邊多放了一塊麵包及油。湯是味道香濃的蕃茄湯,不算很稠,雞肉則內藏在湯裡。前菜點了Scrambled Egg with Black Truffle,以長方形碟盛著炒蛋和片片黑松露。蛋炒得很滑,加上松露令這道菜味道增添不少!主菜是Homemade Lasagna,的確有許多層,中間夾著了蕃茄醬肉醬。千層麵是自家製的,麵帶點厚身和一點煙韌感。Lasagna肉醬比麵還要出色,要是更多厚的話會更好吃!晚餐最後以甜品Homemade Tart作結。Tart 中間塗上了藍莓醬,再倒上草莓醬及放上新鮮草莓。個人覺得tart有點太甜,但熱檸茶中和了甜味,感覺變得良好。跟友人儘管有說不完的話題,眼見店員為我們收拾餐具,我們都識趣地結帳離開。 continue reading

八月三日 (星期六)這篇是小丸子去年生日的廷續話說當日中午先上山頂,在Pearl on the Peak吃了極滿意的「蝦」妳生日大餐:http://www.openrice.com/restaurant/commentdetail.htm?commentid=2364761&tc=sr2&con=sel 之後落山,與一眾朋友參加了麥當勞的活動,晚上又再重回二人世界,來到UNO DUO TRIO - Lana's Italian Home-cooking這樓上餐廳,早前曾拜訪,隨了老闆娘兼大廚的美艷,還對這裡的食物留下深刻印象,早就想找個機會再來,於是這晚就來為小丸子慶生每間出色的餐廳總會有一道令人難忘的菜式,這裡會選Scrambled Eggs with Black Truffle蛋漿是用了不同的蛋來開,色澤也特別明亮突出,味道也特別香濃另一重點當然是那份量十足的黑松露,芬香撲鼻,與蛋香竟是如此配合,真令人百吃不厭共選了三款主菜,先來Spaghetti Secca with Clams cooked in Wine新鮮又豐富的蜆肉和青口,用香濃的酒來煮,份外惹味這裡的意粉,實在值得一提再提,全是由人手自家製,用上00號意大利麵粉入口比坊間吃到的質感較煙韌有嚼勁,沾上香草,味道更香口,令人回味Oyster Risotto是第一次試賣相挺別緻,一隻生蠔伴着意大利飯意想不到的是漿汁由鮮蠔生鮮打製,每啖飯入口也充滿着鮮蠔香味,實在誘人加上意大利飯煮得外脆內軟,實在令人吃不停口用來「伴碟」的生蠔頓給比下去,雖蠔汁仍在,不過入口略欠新鮮最後的一道主菜,也就是想試很久的Roast Spring Baby Chicken with Rosemary and Garlic燒春雞放入鳥籠上枱,心思盡現左拍右拍後,侍者會為你將春雞切件入口肉汁豐潤,就是連雞胸部份也不覺嚡口,雞髀就更是嫩滑可口同一款燒春雞,以特別的方式呈上,就可留在大家心炊喇~久聞Tiramisu也是這裡的名物,可惜上一次來已賣光,未能品嚐今回醒目了,事前已預留了一客享用入口,果真「零舍不同」質感極其幼滑軟身,咖啡味和酒味同樣特出想想,上一次吃到同樣美味的,應該是澳門的品味坊喇最後送上為小丸子生日特別炮製的甜品是可食用的「紅玫瑰」甜品,每朵花底層鋪以朱古力慕絲論賣相,若一百分滿分的話,簡直可以給二百分味道則覺得略甜,反而朱古力慕絲打得幼滑,可可味香濃這晚餐,就像小丸子生日這天一樣,由頭到尾,也是精彩! continue reading

之前已經好想試呢間好評餐廳 加上見到groupon offer $168 for 2 諗都唔諗就買左la 難得有long weekend 就心思思去試下Book 左12:30 上到去只有1枱在用餐上到去 可能沒有太多人 侍應立刻跟我打招呼 不錯他安排我們坐在窗邊位置 餐廳不太 只有10枱 但用了鏡子加強空間感 整體不會太焗促因為前菜 湯 及主餐都有2個 options 所以與友人把所有options 都叫了 可以一嘗所有美食前菜Frttata Conn Pomodoro scramble egg with tomato因為知道這裡最出名的是黑松露炒蛋 所以特別叫了這個炒蛋蛋炒得幾嫰 不老 好juicy 不錯Insalata Del GiornSalad ok 個source 甜甜的 份量不少MINESTRONE Soup意大利豆湯 味道特別 有D説不出的味道 有D酸Not my cup of tea ZUPPE DI FAGIOLI意大利什菜湯味道不錯 足料 不像一般罐頭湯Spaghetti Aglio Olio意粉味道很濃 起初幾口很惹味 但吃下去便覺得有D oily 但味道還是不錯Petto Di Pollo Alla Italiana這個真的很失望 雞肉很韌 用刀也要用力才能切得開 ......未試過吃如比韌的雞肉 吃了一塊也真的吃不下了最後來一杯Caffe Italiano比一般咖啡滑餐廳環境不錯 還播著jazz 服務也很好若用groupon 價的話 絕對是物超所值但若用原價的話 食物質素仍需改善 continue reading

本來想試其Tasting menu,但後來好彩只order了a la carte,不然真是喊都無謂。首先,環境簡樸;除了我坐下後,他們才開冷氣,我注意到有些吊燈沒有燈泡,也沒補上,更驚訝的是:以他們收價錢的檔次,我難以想像桌椅上會用Ikea般級數的坐墊!心裡雖然咕嚕,但我還是按捺著點菜。Appetitizer點了他們的鎮店名菜──Fried eggs with black truffles──這個材料組合,其實是很難會煮得不好吃的,但實在談不上精彩囉!上碟的賣相okay,有蛋汁及數片薄黑松露,但選用的蛋卻是黃多白少,以致炒出來有硬實的感覺而不夠嫩滑。另外,也吃了waiter大力推薦的Fisherman Stew,即是茄汁香草煮海鮮。遠望見到頗大隻的硯殼,心想還不錯,但怎知細看下,其他的材料全是不堪入目,例如小到如一毫子的蝦毛、五角錢大的帶子......湯底也平凡無奇,毫無層次可言,更莫期望會齒甲留香。結果甜品都不吃,立刻埋單走人。每位$530。永不會再幫襯! continue reading

OverviewWhenever I'm asked to recommend a laid-back, unpretentious Italian restaurant, Lana's (Uno Duo Trio) has always been at the top of my list. Food is always authentic, with some local adaptations (if you're a purist, feel free to suggest otherwise). Regional specialties are also featured, and the staff is more than happy to discuss with you their latest offerings.FoodI have been a long time fan of their scrambled eggs with truffle shavings, and prawn linguine (pictured).  For their quality prices are extremely reasonable.ServiceI see much passione in the staff, who seems always energetic and ready to help.  The (5?) courses have been served at reasonably intervals, although the restaurant wasn't very busy at my last visit.ConclusionAll in all, if you want Italian home-cooking in a comfy setting with friendly staff, whether you are going on a date or with a big group of friends, look no further. continue reading
