This is the 5th time I’ve visited Vitis, and I must say every single time we just had such a great time in here. Great selection of wines, friendly and warm staffs, amazing and delicious food. Everything is just on point as a wine bar.

Yesterday, I went with 2 of my friends to join one of their wine tasting event partnering with Rocca De Montegrosse, an organic wine producer from Chianti Classico.

In the event, we got to taste 5 glasses of wines, a glass of champagne, a glass of rosé (Sangiovese), two glasses red Chianti Classico (Sangiovese), with one of them being Gran Selezione 2012 vintage and a glass of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon 🍷

It was such a wonderful tasting set and the owner also shared a lot of the wine making process and details with us so we get to learn more about the specific characteristics of the grape and terroir itself.

𓂪 INTORCIA - PRE BRITISH VINO BIANCO
這款酒非常推薦!來自意大利南部的INTOTCIA,帶點蜜糖香氣,入口帶柑橘和香醋味。漂亮的粉紅色,顏色不深卻味道突出。作為當晚壓軸出場的酒,毫不遜色,反令人印象深刻。


Lobster Risotto in Clay Pot $228
這麼特別的酒,配上較重口味的龍蝦意大利飯,不但非常適合,更能提升龍蝦鮮味。兩者相輔相成,感覺華麗,非常滿足。


坦白說,我不是經常飲 Wine 的。Vitis Wine bar 是我首訪但一試愛上。由燈光、氛圍、挑酒的過程、匠心獨運的食物搭配、店經理 Yolanda 的熱情招待,整晚都非常 relaxing & enjoyable。
特別是配合不同酒的食物搭配,由淡到濃,好像經歷了一個目不暇給的 Wine journey!
這家寶藏店子,不能只有我知道。
絕對絕對會再訪!

最後是一枝Villa Matilde Avalone的紅酒,這是一款來自意大利坎帕尼亞地區的混釀紅酒,主要由Aglianico和Piedirosso兩種本地葡萄混釀而成,有著深紅色的外觀,散發出黑醋栗、黑加侖子、李子和紫羅蘭等香氣,口感飽滿而強烈,單寧堅實而有力,回味帶有一點皮革和煙草的氣息。這款酒配搭了日本豬肉香腸配紫蘇這個小食,日本豬肉香腸用了優質的豬肉製成,肉質細緻而有嚼勁,香氣濃郁而不油膩,配上新鮮的紫蘇葉,增加了一點清新和提神的感覺。豬肉香腸和混釀紅酒的濃郁和複雜味道相匹配,同時也能平衡酒的單寧。

[皮蛋]($88) 幾特別嘅一道小食,冇諗過會係wine bar 可以出現🤪, 皮蛋配上蛋黃醬同辣椒片,加上中間嘅紫蘇葉碎一齊食, 層次豐富而後勁帶點辛辣.
🍷wine pairing 配上[Villa Matilde Falerno del Massico Rosso] 嚟自意大利🇮🇹南部Campania 嘅一款紅酒, 主要混釀了Aglianico-Piedirosso 兩款原生葡萄, 果味主導,黑加侖子,藍莓🫐, 單寧柔和而入口帶點煙草氣息, 估唔到同呢道微辣嘅皮蛋又幾夾😍如此有趣嘅pairing相當有驚喜👏🏻

🌟[Lobster Risotto in clay pot]($228) 全晚高潮亦係印象最深刻嘅pairing! 龍蝦泡飯上嚟已經係非常香,一打開更係不得了😍,可以聞到用左好多龍蝦膏整成, 相當濃郁.
🍷wine pairing 配上了 [Frances Intorcia Heritage - Pre British] 同樣來自意大利🇮🇹 今次去到最南部嘅火山🌋島 Sicily 西西里, 聞落去係好似sicily其中最出名嘅fortified wine - Marsala, 但介紹之下原來冇fortified 到,係一款unfortified但oxidative嘅Marsala. 個term ‘Pre-British’ 原來係指係兩個世紀英國人嚟到西西里後發展出今時今日最typical 經fortified 嘅Marsala之前, 當地人係運用一款叫‘Perpetual’ 技術(同solera system相類似) 釀製出一款oxidative 但冇加烈嘅白酒, 呢個亦係近來sicily嘅winemakers 想重現返最原本當年嘅unfortified, 最‘pure’嘅Marsala.
枝‘Pre-British’ 聞落去已經好香熱帶水果, 菠蘿,蜜桃🍑香氣,而帶有烤果仁,堅果🌰嘅氣味, 但因為冇加烈到所以入口都幾順滑 配上濃味野食好似呢道龍蝦煲仔泡飯相當夾😍可謂全晚驚喜😍

全晚嘅wine pairing (italian flight🇮🇹🍷可以話係)相當出色, 而呢道嘅野食比起其他wine bar獨有心思同特別, 選酒都非常有趣, 最後仲熱情地送我一杯grappa 作結👏🏻
