Big Jo's originated from the USA, Santa Monica to be precise. This is their first overseas branch. A number of partners are now stationed in Hong Kong permanently. I understand that Big Jo's is run by a Korean family in the States. Apparently, their staff had undergone training there before they started making burgers in Hong Kong.
There were quite a lot of Korean and American customers when I went. The tables were reasonably spaced out so it was comfortable. Much better than Beef & Liberty or Butcher's Club.
I was introduced to the person-in-charge. I assumed that he was called Jo. But actually, he's called Steve. Without further ado, I ordered a Hawaiian Chicken Teriyaki Burger ($70) and a pint of draft Stella while I wait for my burger. ($50 during HH) Hawaiian Chicken Teriyaki:

I prefer this than the burger served at Beef & Liberty and Shake'em buns. Those were overpriced, bland and dry.
In sum, this was a wonderful burger. Had I known about the quality of the chicken teriyaki beforehand, I would have orderd an extra patty (+$25).

All in all, a wonderful place to chill out, have a burger and a pint (or two.) It's open during lunchtime too!
Worth a try if you are in the area.
Other Info. :
I'd be even happier if they do "Beer combo" in the future.
