To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 五一長假期,酒樓外排長龍,好彩我們仨有訂枱,顺利入座。但由於一個晚上分兩輪入座時間,我們在交接時間到,入座後很久也沒人理睬,餐牌也是要求才拿給我們😅服務員人手嚴重不足。我們點了:1、醉雞-份量足、入味,肉質不夠嫩2、雜菜沙律- 菜新鮮爽口,蔴漿在碟底撈起來剛剛好,不會太多或太少3、全隻片皮鴨- 保持水準,但薄餅皮放碟易變涼變硬,建議用有蓋蒸籠盛上,調🥄也不應用大瓷🥄,用來不方便,太多漿貼在🥄上,應該改小匙。越嚟越馬虎了4、海蔘鍋巴- 淡而無味,鍋巴硬而不脆,很失望5、酒釀丸子-沒有拍照,一般用了信用卡優惠,價錢還可以
