Restaurant: Tim Ho Wan, the Dim-Sum Specialists

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 多年前添好運第一間舖是在旺角廣華街開的小店,我也常幫襯,因為舖太細,真係要排很耐才能吃到的。當時還可以見到老闆和員工在窄窄小廚房內製作點心。轉眼多年了,最近行經深水埗,想回味下多年前的味道,就去飲茶啦。 每人茶錢只兩蚊好抵,每款點心都是$10多至$30左右,唔算太貴。酥皮焗叉燒包,我記得以前好似叫雪山叉燒包,咬落外脆內軟,皮薄餡多,無失水準。家鄉鹹水角,外皮炸得脆,糯米皮薄薄軟韌,裏面啲餡料鹹度適中。估唔到$15,仲好食過焗叉燒包。豉汁蒸排骨,份量唔多,味道可以。賽螃蟹春卷,新款點心,我覺得春卷皮太厚,餡料味道好淡有些乾,麻麻地。豬潤腸粉,腸粉皮薄,好正。豬潤細細塊,煑得唔老唔鞋,好味。
