To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今日出左去又一城行街shopping,然後就嚟左八月花食晚餐,佢推出左一個$298蚊既1人套餐,有鮑魚有海參又有蝦,咁就補補佢啦。咁一坐埋位,當然都係有個小食,$16個都算係咁,都幾開胃既。到正式開始,先嚟左頭盤《冷鮑魚海蜇海螺》,海蜇比較淡無乜味,海螺片就有種似超級市場急凍御x皇既貨色味道一樣,就連鮑魚都好似罐頭開出嚟咁,實說真係有啲失望。然後,嚟左個《土雞蜜瓜日月魚》,燉湯都算足料既,既有蜜瓜清甜既味道,日月魚既鮮味亦同樣出色。《上湯焗大花蝦》,每位有2隻,賣相相當唔錯,花蝦亦都算大隻,不過咬口就唔係太彈牙,但都唔會話霉既,鮮味亦都有,算合格咁啦。《珍珠海參鹿茸》,海參爽口彈牙,吸收左湯汁既味道,入味之餘亦唔會太唸,算係比較好的一道菜。套餐上只係得返《珍珠雞》同《蜜餞脆麻花》,同飽都仲有少少距離,所以我地額外加左個《蟹籽蟹肉燴伊麵》,上枱既時候熱辣辣,賣相同味道都相當不俗,不過伊麵就唸左少少,如果煮短時間少少就更好喇。《珍珠雞》同《蜜餞脆麻花》應該算係同以上菜色最唔match既餸。珍珠雞本身又唔係特別出色,而脆麻花甚至可以講係難食,既不鬆脆,蜜糖又有一陣怪味,真係扣哂分。
