如果你係一個懷舊嘅人,一定唔可以錯過「蓮香棧」,上至裝修,下至菜式,都離唔開傳統兩個字。一行入去,古色古香嘅仿紫壇木裝潢,令人猶如去咗七、八十年代,天花板掛滿吊扇,牆上又掛上雀籠... ...呢啲都係舊式茶樓嘅特色!座位嘅枱有兩層,面層係擺點心,下層係擺客人嘅物品。聽講以前嘅茶樓係按蒸籠計數,好多茶客都會將啲籠收喺下層,咁就可以瞞天過海,收少幾籠錢。不過大家千祈唔好咁做,係犯法架(當然依家用點心紙或電腦落單,想走數都難)!點心方面,蝦餃燒賣鳳爪等傳統點心係必備,但小妹只聞其名,未嘗其味嘅一定非「金錢雞」莫屬!原本以為係雞肉點心嘅我,一食就滿口油花,原來係膽固醇超高嘅豬肉、雞肝同肥豬肉夾成嘅三高組合,將佢哋切成圓形,串埋一齊燒,燒嘅時候塗上蜜糖同麻油,外表似叉燒。晴天霹靂後就係一陣甘、香、甜、潤嘅滋味,咁大個女第一次食咁得意嘅嘢!店內仲有另一傳統美食——鴨掌包,但為咗健康著想,下次先試!另外,佢仲有薑汁糕,呢款手工菜要逐層蒸,超花功夫同時間,只有老店先有咁嘅功力!食落薑味濃郁又Q彈,係落足料之作!
