To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 家人想吃滬菜作為其生日晚餐, 香港老飯店就成為我的首選, 水準不是錯且穩定, 地點方面, 最重要是空間感和冷氣足夠, 特別在這炎炎夏日更為重要. 香港老飯店今年剛好三十歲, 由我第一次光顧顧到現在也有十多年, 也見證過香港島店和九龍店搬店的時間, 這些年來水準維持不變, 至於價格也算可以. 作為生日飯, 壽桃必不可少, 這𥚃的蓮蓉蛋黃香滑甘香, 外面包身濕潤軟熟, 比起要額外給百多元的切餅費, 這樣更得長輩歡心. 除了壽包外, 也點了雞絲燴麵, 取其長壽麵的意頭, 簡單但有意思. 傳統滬菜如小籠包和松子桂魚表現正常, 要的元素也有, 水準並非驚為天人, 但人人也吃得飽足. 樟茶燻鴨最欣賞的, 並非其煙燻香及茶甘的結合香味, 而是鴨皮彈牙而鴨肉爽彈的口感, 鴨皮鴨肉色彩口感層次分明, 相當不錯. 紅燒肉加上鮑魚, 除了更為矜貴外, 前者的軟融及後者的爽彈夾起來有驚喜, 更重要是兩者吸汁夠入味, 甘甜而夠鮮, 膽固醇超標的罪惡感, 又再一次拋諸腦後.Hong Kong Old Restaurant is a 30-year-old Shanghainese restaurant at HK

Hong Kong Old Restaurant is a 30-year-old Shanghainese restaurant at HK. The style of cuisine is so old fashion and traditional with good quality control. The pork belly with abalone are so sweet and fresh. The smoked duck are so smoky and spongy with excellent color. These you should not be missed!
