位於Soho的Check-in Taipei一向以創新風格把不少特色台灣美食與不同國家的食材重新配搭,食物和飲品都有份坊間不易找到的新鮮感。店內裝修以白色跟黑色為主,簡約時尚,氣氛輕鬆。這晚再次到訪,最明顯的分別就是終於可以見到餐廳的門面!之前來個好多次,一直大門都是被棚架擋著的。這晚比朋友們早到了,就先點一杯無酒精的熱飲GinZeng Rose ($78) 暖暖身。用玫瑰味GinZeng,加上自家製洛神花糖漿和玫瑰花瓣,花旗參香突出但不會過份強烈,還帶份淡淡玫瑰花幽香,飲完好舒服。一向很喜歡Check-in Taipei的摩登版鹽酥雞「窩夫鹽酥雞」。台式鹽酥雞炸得香脆而肉質還很juicy,配上小片waffle和鳳梨肉醬,再淋了楓樹糖漿。香口又甜美。臨近農曆新年,這裡亦推出不少新年意頭菜式。當中我最喜歡就是「滷肉nachos」 ($138)。滷肉本身做得很入味,花椒八角與果皮的香很突出。台式滷肉取代傳統nachos的肉醬,配上水牛芝士,九層塔和牛油果醬,效果原來可以跟夾!希望這道台風 x 墨西哥風菜,以後可以留在menu上吧。 食之前撈呀撈,就好像星馬一帶食撈起般,寓意樣樣撈起 過年
