這是我們第二次到訪龍門客棧,印象中,第一次是前年在機場店。是日來到沙田,隔了整整一個月沒為皮膚充電,被美容師抱怨皮膚乾了,毛孔在慘叫,我個人倒沒什麼感覺,也累得只管昏睡。醒來由新城市漫步走到麗豪那邊,以前唸書時也喜歡穿過圖書館走到沙角邨吃大排檔,所以亦不覺得路程很遠。龍門客棧的裝潢非常古色古香,大紅燈籠令整個空間都充滿喜慶的氣氛。耳邊傳來悠揚的中式音樂,客人不多,這樣的環境最是舒服。這兒有源源不絕的熱水,茶水有小火爐溫熱着,這等小體貼可不是每間茶樓都能享有。又是例牌的露荀蝦餃,非常飽滿的形態,一籠四件。夾起來餃皮有點黏身,內餡的蝦仁爽口略鹹,勝在濕潤多汁,不會很乾身。近年來,和男友一直尋找比回憶更出色的蝦餃,但似乎至今遇到的都只是回憶的影子,或者是時候應該回到明閣找答案。平時水晶餚肉吃得多,但像眼前的陳醋餚肉還是第一次見。一碟八件的餚肉,每件只有指尾長,1cm厚。鹵凍透明的部份混了些粉紅鮮肉,口感又滑又帶鹹香,平時要蘸醋吃。現在直接在鹵凍層加上一層鎮江淅醋凍,交錯拼起來很漂亮,這樣直接吃起來爽口有醋味,不用再蘸醋了。不過醋凍的比例可以再少一點,或者直接減份量。當作開胃小食淺嚐一兩件還可

跟陳醋餚肉一樣,魚子燻雙蛋是此店的名菜之一,一隻開邊盛惠$42,糖心蛋汁上再放一顆鵪鶉蛋白,下層蛋黃味香濃,頂層的魚子醬只剩爆珠感,幾乎淪為裝飾品。唯一覺得不妙的,是下層蛋白太硬,感覺像雪了很久似的。

南翔小籠包的展示方式非常漂亮,不過論味道卻是今天的敗筆。表皮乾硬不在話下,內裡的豬肉餡軟嫩多汁,但就是鹹得不能嚥下,希望我們今日的意見可以真正傳遞到大廚耳裡。

尾聲的甜品時間,選了鎮店之寶香蕉高力豆沙。原本一球球的脹脹的高力豆沙,在端來時已經呈扁塌狀,賣相不太討好。入口嚐到濃郁的香蕉味,還有似有若無的紅豆香。

整頓飯最驚喜的是壓軸的楊州胖大海,有趣的名字源於一種叫「胖大海」的植物,外形有點像欖核,顏色帶啡,遇水後會膨脹成軟軟的海綿狀。眼前的一碗褐色糖水,一絲絲啡色的驟眼還真以為是桂花碎,其實就是胖大海。糖水的質感有點像攪碎了的啫喱,當中混了粒粒像果皮的東西。雖然其貌不揚,但味道清甜帶果香,加上有清熱潤肺的功效,乾咳、喉嚨痛也很適合,實在非常有驚喜。
