To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

小曼谷可謂是九龍城泰國菜的代表之一,在我中學時已經曾慕名而來,最近再次到訪覺得裝修後環境比較舒適,但朋友卻認為小曼谷海鮮燒烤屋更加出色,極力推薦一試。環境方面顯然與小曼谷的泰式風味截然不同,裝潢比較新派而醬上更有壁畫塗鴉。冬蔭鮮蝦雲吞湯 ($128)冬蔭功湯原鍋端上並以明火保溫,份量比想像中多,可以分為約四碗,酸辣辛香亦不過分嗆辣。附有五粒巨型雲吞,皮滑餡多而且鮮蝦比例頗多,雖鮮味欠奉但口感爽彈。雞腎沙嗲串燒 ($16) 串爆墨魚咀 ($28)墨魚咀和雞腎均質感爽彈而不乾韌,惟沙嗲醬偏甜但香氣與層次感薄弱。蒜香胡椒炸墨魚咀 ($78)炸墨魚咀淹沒於大量炸蒜胡椒當中,比燒墨魚咀更加香口惹味但油膩感重。泰式燒原隻魷魚 ($148)原隻魷魚配上泰式甜辣醬,本身並沒有多加調味,口感軟彈不會過韌,但感覺平平無奇亦沒有技巧可言。極上燒安格斯西冷牛小排 ($228)牛小排外層燒至微微焦香,肉質較韌且肉味薄弱,油香四溢,不過脂肪比例太高充斥不少肥膏。泰皇咖哩炒海鮮 ($238)咖哩當中有炸大蝦、青口、蜆等海鮮,另加一碗白飯($15)拌飯同吃,咖哩辣度適中,混有陣陣椰香。泰式芝士烤酥餅 ($32)酥餅加

炒飯口感濕軟而且較為油膩,不夠乾爽和粒粒分明。

或許因朋友及網上評論推薦期望較高,結果整體而言水準只屬不過不失,不少菜式無需太多技巧但定價偏高,人均五百多元實在有更好選擇。
