早前跟朋友來過吃食海南雞令人回味,剛巧今日要到太子辦事,正好給我機會再去品嚐文昌雞。望入餐廳後要行樓梯上一層,單是樓梯已見心思。餐廳佔地大,門口更有多處打卡位。靠窗的座位有有落地玻璃很開暢,十分舒適。更新了的午市套餐有更多選擇(11:30am-4:30pm)先來個老火湯上品 - 但只是室溫,而且淡如水,失望。《玉子嫩滑雞脾丼 $58》賣相吸引,玉子舖滿飯面更有生雞蛋,可拌勻更鮮味更汁潤,而且份量十足;雞脾已經切成粒,粒粒嫩滑易入口,整體不錯。《椰子雞湯米線 $68》湯底清甜零味精,雞肉嫩滑有雞味,海南雞招牌就是招牌,一流;還有雲耳、竹笙、菜心。但雞要先吃,因為浸在熱湯中肉質會變老而韌。兩款午餐都有飲品免費加配,但職員沒有提點而我們亦忘記有此項。晚市做火鍋,有機會的話會試試。
