To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

今午，筆者與朋友在灣仔美味廚進膳。雖然在灣仔工作多時，但未曾到美味廚用膳，一來距離辦公室頗遠，二來價錢並不廉宜。單看四人點了四道菜，埋單$320，便知這是行政人員的午膳水平。收費不菲，服務當然有保證 - 隨傳隨到，親切服務，笑容可嘉。灣仔一般茶餐廳，食客剛放下筷子，伙計便施加壓力暗示要你離開，態度相差甚遠。然而聽說美味廚最出名是打邊爐，用料新鮮，湯底有特色，價錢當然也非一般。儘管如此，也希望將來有機會試一試。http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/chicken-goal/article?mid=2133
