To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. Dinner @ 八月花 (皇室堡) ~去完聖堂,一班教友就行去位於 銅鑼灣-皇室堡 的 八月花 吃晚飯 ~琵琶金乳豬喜盈門:廣東人有句俗語,就係食過乳豬,紅皮又赤壯,乳豬皮脆肉香,略有微溫,大家都知乜嘢味啦,過得去呀 ~翡翠花枝炒蝦仁: 炒功不俗, 不論是花之片或是蝦仁都炒得爽口彈牙,油份也不算多 ~翡翠玉環瑤柱脯:清而不寡,瑤柱味濃郁,但略舔節瓜未蒸得夠透 ~龍蝦湯海皇燴仿翅:湯頭都算杰身,味道不錯但不算驚喜,OK啦 ~紅燜鵝掌鮑螺片:味道中規中矩,鵝掌偏硬,我不太喜歡 ~清蒸沙巴花尾斑:火喉掌握得不錯,魚肉緊緻鮮嫩,魚有魚味 ~當紅一品脆燒雞:算是全晚最佳的一道菜,皮脆肉嫩,如非食神上身,應該都沒什麼好挑剔的 ~甫魚乾燒伊麵:沒太多油份,味道和口感都不錯 ~本篇完 ~
