To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

人在港島,想吃吃港式鋸扒,好像選擇也不多,唯一想到在西營盤的森美餐廳,雖然知道質素下跌了不少,就當是到老店懷舊一番。進了店內,就像穿梭時空,回到七、八十年代的舊時光。紅、白湯平時愛喝紅湯,但這裡的紅湯沒有層次,只有微微的酸,不太行。焗法國田螺據說是最能保持水準的一道菜,田螺肉鮮嫩,墊底的薯蓉吸盡了香草牛油汁,未吃主菜已吃得半飽。鐵板雜扒餐大堆頭的製作,有齊牛扒、豬扒、雞扒、香腸和煙肉,份量上肉食獸必然喜愛,而肉質是預期中的一般。法式砵酒燴羊膝這道菜較少在市面上吃到,羊膝的肉質煮得軟腍,醬汁甜酸而帶有砵酒香氣,很開胃,拌吃意粉也一流。森美的貓兒養得肥肥白白,一臉悠然自得,在店中穿梭。
