To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. 兩口子的燒肉癮又發作了，雖然去唔到日本食燒和牛，但都可以去牛角止下癮先。今次我地簡左極上和牛四種盛合($339)，分別有西冷、肉眼、一口和牛同澳洲牛舌，每款都有4件，一次可以試到唔同部位。和牛終於上枱啦！油花分布得好靚好平均，牛肉嘅顏色亦都好鮮明。和牛肉質細嫩帶點嚼勁，牛肉味香濃，入口時油香滿溢，質素確實不錯。我地另外仲叫左每次都必定要食嘅牛舌，牛舌切成薄薄的一片，烤好後肉味濃郁，口感帶爽，非常好食。嚟牛角除左食美味嘅燒肉外，自己落手烤肉也是一種樂趣呢！之後當然要叫碗牛角飯嚟送燒肉食，飯面舖上滿滿的紫菜，加埋香蔥同醬油，原來簡單的食材只要配搭得宜，就能夠令平平無奇的白飯味道即時提升。最後兩隻牛魔王食到好飽好滿足咁離開。
