To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 一年一度辦年貨時間又到。血拼一輪後,快快搵個地方保充體力。曾經覺得太興都算係有品質保證,可惜被今天的下午茶破壞了。羅宋湯通粉配四式卷「圖片僅供參考」一份價錢,十數粒通粉在浮沉,勉強說服自己,下午茶份量係少啲。羅宋湯一層油浮喺面,睇見已經唔想放入口。凍冰冰的四式卷,即係蟹柳魚卷,皮乾,肉淡,大概廚房懶得返熱吧。乾炒牛河炒到碎晒,碎到夾唔起,要用匙羹食。牛肉數量如圖,數得到咁多塊,又韌又老。乾炒牛河就預咗會多油,但這個也太油了吧。師傅功力太差了,食物質量太低,一分錢沒有半分貨。
