在九龍城搵泰國菜食真係多到有選擇困難症,但要唔熱得的肥柑子太太坐得舒服,食嘢要食埋人哋嗰環境,但我俾錢時唔會肌肉痛,咁嗰選擇就好明確,今日就選定去 Orange Elephant 食。好在之前用電話訂了枱,我哋6點幾到達時店內已很多人,接近7點時Walk-in客都要在門外等候了。店內地方寬敞,光線充足,而裝潢簡單而豐富,每面牆都安放了象的擺設或掛設,配合店名,店內有多張大圓檯,放便大家庭或大班朋友共聚。而在用膳期間,有不少外國客人到店內幫襯,此店似乎儲到不少喜歡食泰菜的外籍客人。大熱天時一進店內先點杯凍飲先,我和肥柑子太太分別點了菠蘿冰和龍眼冰。龍眼冰的龍眼肉份量足; 菠蘿冰是杯smoothie,稠稠的帶鮮菠蘿的酸甜,滿足的質感。該店現正做$1推廣,每枱可以1蚊選擇其中一款指定食品或飲品,最抵之選應該是選明爐烏頭魚,但我倆更愛吃「泰式炸蝦餅」,這蝦餅是環形那款,比較多香脆的接觸面,蝦膠感一般,但新鮮炸好非常熱辣,配合甜味較重的梅子醬,超抵食而有水準。這個「咖哩海鮮脆包盅」上碟如一個大橘子猫頭型,那對猫耳般的是兩隻大青口,盅內還有軟殻蟹、鮮蝦和魚柳,咖哩汁混入大量的滑蛋炒成,用剪開的一塊
