To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 月頭公司去尖東陶源食晚飯,一入商場已感覺。。。有冇搞錯呀,去埋啲靜英英嘅商場,仲要响地牢。我哋揾咗好耐先揾到間酒樓。間酒樓整咗好多間房,我哋坐咗其中一間。一開席就上奶豬,但其實係乳豬來的。全晚最好味已係乳豬了 ,跟住個伙記响我哋後面分鴨掌鮑魚(強調係鴨掌唔係鵝掌),但佢分咗成兩個字先分完 嚟到我面前已經凍哂 然後食完後點解等咗3個字都未上菜呢。。。。原來伙記又响度好努力咁分緊翅(心諗點解未上炸嘢就上翅呢).又是者伙記又分咗兩個字先上翅。當然食落口只係微暖。碗翅唔熱都算嘞,點知飲落口原來味道同吏雲新清雞湯係一樣味 咁奇怪我都係第一次 於是我只用筷子夾咗啲翅食就算了。之後上嘅餸菜係西芹炒双䂜,呢味餸冇特別。然後係扒豆苗,豆苗咬落去全部都係渣 跟住上魚,魚係養斑,過熟兼冇味!咬咗一啖就算!之後上炸雞,我夾咗雞翼,所以好難唔好味 但我同事話佢夾嗰舊脾係冇味嘅。。。。總括全晚嘅餸菜及價錢而言係--味道差勁!價錢絕對不值5千幾蚊圍囉!我去稻香用千五蚊已食到同樣嘅嘢同同樣嘅馬虎味道!好彩唔駛我俾錢,如果唔係我實即場鏟爆!仲有,服務我哋嗰啲伙記,憑佢哋嘅服務態度肯定係臨時工嚟。全晚都冇主
