To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 很久沒跟家人上酒樓食飯了,今晚就來到富臨跟家人相聚一翻,畢竟談天說地不限時,大聲一點都不怕XD離我家不算太遠的貿易廣場介乎民區與工廈區之間,可以吸引打工仔放工後跟同事來個飯局,也方便居民下班後扶老携幼吃晚飯⋯小菜包羅萬有,海鮮、肉、菜、燉湯⋯⋯每台都有果仁一碟,茶錢$10位,果仁$10碟成屋湯怪,每次到酒樓總要點燉湯,今晚就叫了金銀菜燉白肺湯,湯頭清澈,豬肺洗得很乾淨,而且很腍,非常滋潤,我們都是連湯渣吃的人,所以一點都不浪費食物⋯是次推廣的蠔皇金頭鮑魚扣金錢每位只售$26.8,當然要每人都點一份泰皇蝦球抄通菜令人滿有驚喜,蝦醬味濃,而且香辣惹味,越食越辣的很刺激﹗脆皮豬手已經切件,所以一上枱就可以享用,豬手皮脆卜卜的,肉質倒是很Juicy,醃料很入味⋯這一餐有鮑魚有燉湯,又可以跟家人相聚,大滿足啊﹗
