To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

臨近聖誕，一心想和男友去赤柱的聖誕市集浪漫一番，誰知中途塞車，等候了一小時左右都沒有半點可以前進的消息，只好放棄，掉頭到附近找食肆填飽飢腸轆轆的肚子。剛看到這車仔麺的小店，實在沒有多想便進去了，實在太餓，早上到下午五點還沒有半點食物入肚。店內環境十分狹窄，只容下十多人的座位，一切都非常簡陋，但外賣的人數極多。看到這張點餐紙，我笑了，如此便宜，居然還有凈餸菜底的選擇，正合心意。自選三餸 - $29 (鹵水雞中翼，牛腩，豬膶)配料中發現了有迷你的炸蝦乾，鮮，香！不得不推介的是豬膶，清洗得很乾淨，新鮮而且沒有苦澀味，入口爽脆，嘴嚼中能感受到豬膶獨特的流沙質感，正！男友點的炸魚皮，入口酥脆，沒有魚皮的腥味，不錯。如此便宜而且味道不俗的車仔麺，笑評實至名歸！
