To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

今日打包一整隻蒸雞,回家食到最後發現只有一隻雞腳,致電老闆問會唔會搞錯單只有半隻雞?一開始對方說「真係好笑,一隻雞唔係一隻腳係咩啊」,後來又說「可能另一隻雞腳唔隻跌去邊度」。完全當顧客係傻瓜。最後說「你只有一隻腳那你拿個盒翻來再比隻雞腳你。」我起初係擔心拿錯雞,所以致電去查詢,並不想遭到惡意對待。疫情還未消散,每次外出都需要一個口罩回家換洗一套衣服,我不可能為一隻雞腳刻意外出。況且我本意並不在於雞腳,隻係擔心拿錯別人的外賣。紅磡這樣大,選擇這樣多,我不會再幫襯去受氣。
