To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 入大埔搵屋企人飲茶,方便屋企人就去就去附近嘅屋村酒樓。其實都好耐冇嚟過呢一間,好似輕輕裝修過吓咁。呢度除咗方便之外,就係下午茶都有好多款式揀,真係花多眼亂。餐前小食唔少得,見佢有個蒜泥豬手就試吓。印象中佢啲小食都唔錯,尤其是個口水雞。但係今次我俾碟豬手嚇窒咗,因為個豬手真係完全用滾水烚熟,然後上邊諗啲湯渣豉油再加啲蒜泥就算,呢個真係唔建議大家叫。食完之後,個心都有少少離一離。好彩其他點心都唔差,燒腩卷肥瘦適中,個柱侯豬手亦都好入味。個蝦餃啲皮都幾薄,而且蝦肉幾爽,虎皮尖椒都好夠辣。最鍾意係佢有牛骨髓,真係唔係咁多間酒樓都仲有呢啲咁嘅傳統點心,值得一試。椒鹽魷魚鬚,純粹個人喜好唔係好鍾意佢個炸醬係呢一個做法,但係味道係正常嘅。星洲炒米都有鑊氣,就淡咗少少,不過唔好食咁鹹都係健康啲嘅。好可惜個小籠包漏咗單,要留返下次先有機會再試。孖寶嚟講$32有牛肉有鳳爪排骨飯,冇投訴正常味道。同埋頭先個牛骨水同埋豬手都係屬於孖寶,簡直係超值。
