To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

在聯和墟隨便找家餐廳吃午飯,見店內人頭湧湧便決定一試。午市有多款套餐選擇, 一定有吃你口味的。兩個人分別點了一個京葱爆肥牛飯跟一個葡汁雞球飯,上菜非常快。京葱肥牛上桌時已經聞到爆香京葱洋葱的味道,可惜調味太鹹,不然會是一個香口有鑊氣的好菜式。葡汁雞球飯有芝士鋪面稍為焗香,葡汁香草味濃,個人不太喜歡,但點餐的人覺得ok,只是汁太多,令飯變得太濕,口感不好。總活而言,菜式都尚可,如果可以從上述方向再改善,應該會更出色~
