To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今晚同個內地朋友去了置富都會食過晚飯就乘車回家,本身想同他去食自助餐,但他想吃中餐,又唔想食food court就係咁係openrice內搵到這裡,這裡地方夠晒闊落,門面裝潢華麗,望吓餐牌有套餐或點菜,兩個人套餐內嘅食物又唔係樣樣啱,所以望了餐牌點了半隻脆皮南乳雞$68,雖然話係半隻,但份量十足,而且個雞燒得十分香脆皮,肉質嫩滑軟熟,朋友都讚唔錯!而黑松露秋葵帶子炒滑蛋$86,就係朋友喜歡多一點蔬菜口味,秋葵夾埋炒滑蛋入口更加軟滑,而帶子鮮甜彈牙,加埋啲黑松露味道更加香濃,而杞子濃湯花膠泡勝瓜$79,花膠配埋濃湯入口味道香濃軟滑,勝瓜入口夠晒軟熟,而個人最喜歡就係臘味糯米飯$98,上面放了最愛嘅臘腸片,加埋個糯米飯夠晒味道,飯身軟熟,而材料十足,冬冬地嘅天氣夠晒暖胃!朋友十分滿意這裡,下次再來港時又可以同他到這吃飯了!
