To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. 今日老細唔喺公司，成班員工開始作反，明知食晏時間只有一個鐘，都特登搭叮叮跑去老遠嘅銅鑼灣食牛角，完全唔理到底可唔可以準時返到公司，呢份對食嘅堅持實在值得敬佩。入到牛角坐定定，睇睇餐牌，由於猴子想食嘅牛肋肉同大腸分別喺 (I) 同 (II) 兩個唔同嘅類別，所以揀咗可以喺兩個類別各選一嘅燒肉定食B。牛肋肉唔使多講都係入口即溶咁鬆軟，肉味十足，更值一讚嘅係大腸，雖然內側全部係脂肪，但入口嗰陣完全唔覺肥膩，兼且有陣香香嘅肉味。猴子係食下午茶時段，所以有七折，其實圍起條數一啲都唔貴，如果你大食嘅話，牛角可能比起一般快餐店更便宜，因為牛角可以畀你免費添飯。猴子為食但唔大食，所以只係食咗一碗，相反，公司嗰兩位大食女神就每人食咗兩碗，如果唔係因為食晏時間有限要趕返公司，相信佢哋可以每人刨三碗。不過又唔可以怪佢哋，因為個玉子飯的確幾好味，紫菜蛋黃撈入粒粒飽滿嘅米飯上，香滑之餘口感十足，就算冇燒肉送飯都可以扒晒成碗，好難忍得住口唔添食。其他仲有迷你沙律同昆布湯，嘢飲方面叫咗杯凍烏龍茶。落單係用平板電腦，可以逐個自已撳，方便快捷。埋單之後仲會派糖，記得攞走唔好嘥。因為知道老細返咗公司，所以都冇得滋滋悠悠咁
