近兩日天氣轉涼,春雨紛紛,最宜三五知己聚一聚,滾一滾,暢飲一番。為添點新鮮感,特意挑選一間從未去過而又有特色主題的火鍋店:奇樂香辣雞煲。火鍋店裝潢格調悠閒,有點似咖啡廳,部分牆身餐椅用上鮮紅色,顏色甚為搶眼奪目,亦增加了時尚感。見名知意,比火鍋店以雞煲聞名。餐桌紙上亦印有香港養雞業的歷史及餐廳供應的鮮雞簡評,邊吃邊增進冷知識。簡單來說,餐廳有四款新鮮雞供應,分別是嘉美雞、粵皇雞、泰安雞及香港BB雞。依據店員介紹,全部鮮雞皆產自本港,雞齡約九十日大,肥美度依次增加。湯底方面同樣有四款,分別是麻辣雞煲、椰子新鮮雞煲、鮮雞冬瓜粥鍋及冬瓜瑤柱豬骨鍋,鮮雞湯底任意拼選。因同檯友人不嗜辣,最後點選了椰子新鮮雞煲配香港BB雞作是晚湯底。椰子湯與鮮雞分開端上。椰子湯底顏色潤白,以椰青水及椰奶作主要食材,味道清甜,椰香撲鼻。香港BB雞以紹興酒及杞子醃製,賣相新鮮肉滑。店員先把椰子湯煮滾,再放下鮮雞大火煮上數分鐘,再熄火焗上十分鐘即成。為保品質,店員更用上計時器計時,製作考究認真。因BB雞相較其他雞種肥美,烹煮後的湯底留有少許油份,份量可以接受。雞件雞香鮮味濃郁,肉質腍滑,尤其是雞脾部分,十分滑溜可口,值
