To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 上星期去咗石門彩福飲茶,覺得唔錯所以打算試下他們的晚飯。 不過今次約咗朋友到紅磡這邊, 所以就試一試置富都會入邊的彩福皇宴, 剛剛放工時間, 但發覺平日都好多客人, 似乎名氣都唔錯。 小菜都有好多選擇, 還有很多孖寶和精選菜式, 價錢都經濟實惠。 這條沙巴龍躉蒸得剛剛好,新鮮嫩滑香蒜美極煎海蝦, 好香口惹味連殼都食埋菠蘿生炒骨, 酸甜度剛好份量亦不少,可以再香脆啲就更好。這個芥蘭炒臘味, 我覺得較為肥膩但有些朋友就是喜歡這樣。金箔芝麻卷做甜品,細細條但芝麻味都香濃。
