算起來,已經有一段日子沒過來French Window了,實在很懷念維港兩岸的景色,近日加有摩天輪相伴,增添了不少生氣。近月是自己的生日,朋友拉了一家人來慶生,真的要說聲謝謝。自然光的透入,帶來了朝氣,而高懸的吊燈,帶來了強烈的空間感,如果選擇了靠窗的位置,望著有如積木的景物,喝上一杯香檳,這個周日,確是來得太幸福了。餐牌其實很簡單,但都是精挑細選的食物,就先由最愛的海鮮起動吧!Seafood Platter每位客人都會奉上一份Seafood Platter,已經包括了環球海鮮,當中有波士頓龍蝦、法國生蠔及青口、加拿大翡翠螺、北冰洋海蝦與及挪威龍蝦仔,很奇怪,龍蝦蚶很薄殼,竟然可以用手撕開,肉質雖然有點「削」,但卻是相當鮮甜;生蠔細細仔,蠔肉爽口,只嫌海水沖洗得太乾淨了;翡翠螺柔韌有嚼口,都是值得推薦給大家。Appetizer Bar在前菜吧可以找到凍肉片、芝士及沙律,雖然品種未算多,但都是品質上乘,單是芝士已經有五款不同質感供選擇。Main Dishes Unlimited Orders到了主菜環節,除了法國海鮮湯外,還有六款供應,同樣地是可以任點的,真划算。Eggs Benedic

Eggs Benedict with Bayonne Ham and Truffle Coulis
已很久沒遇上具水準的Egg Benedict了,基本上這種英式食物都常在Brunch出現,Poached Egg賣相漲滿,相當對辦,澆上荷蘭汁就更吸引,中間的法國Bayonne Ham,帶出了陣陣油香,與黑松露相當合拍,輕輕切開雞蛋,鮮豔的蛋漿徐徐流出,蛋味濃郁,口感豐腴。

另一款是賣相差不多,只是一紅一黑,相影成趣,加入了菠菜,令味道多了一份清新,不會感到太rich。

The French Window Bouillabaisse
湯料的份量比湯還要多,有海蝦、藍貝及魚柳,湯底加入了龍蝦殼去煮,透出幽香的龍蝦味,但又不會奪去魚湯的鮮味,加上質感濃稠,呷了一口,咀角都覺得有點黏性,實在忍不住再encoure了。

簡單的來了一片薄切,澆上少許燒汁,牛肉味道夠濃,而且肉質鬆軟,近乎medium rare的熟成度,大廚在時間的處理上已經不錯。

甜品種類不算多,只有Coconut Panna Cotta、Mango Mousse Cafe、Profiteroles、Chocolate Rum Ball及Brownie,全都取了試試,其中以Coconut Panna Cotta最令人有驚喜,質感滑溜之餘,又有淡淡的椰香,加上放置了一片新鮮無花果,就更甜美;其他幾款都做得紮實而不花巧,值得一試。
老實講,簡是Seafood Platter及四周的環境已經值回大半票價,加上幾款main course都是任點,即時製作,夠認真及水準,這500個大洋還是比得心甘情願的。
