To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

坤記竹昇麵最吸引之處莫過於可以從門口的櫥窗看到師傳製作竹昇麵的過程,其次,就是榮獲了米芝蓮推介食肆,也是對其整體質素的一個肯定。是日點了招牌蠔油撈麵 ($32) 及豬油撈麵 ($24) 各一,拌撈麵吃的上湯帶有大地魚及蝦子的鹹鮮香,味濃卻不過鹹。麵條非常爽口,富有彈性,而且沒有鹼水味,的確很有水準。招牌蠔油撈麵的蠔油是分開另上的,可按個人喜好來添加,蠔油的甘甜跟麵條也挺匹配,但蠔油的份量下得太多卻會掩蓋蝦子的味道。相反,豬油撈麵的味道偏淡,也不夠香,較招牌蝦子蠔油撈麵失色。
