To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 放工,平淡又忙碌的工作完結了,打算去求其吃一餐。路過太興,都滿座但未至於要排隊,一於食佢。呢間太興第一次食,餐廳窄窄長長,但佈置都幾舒服。天花燈配合牆面密密麻麻的裝修,好有香港的感覺。菜牌大致都背得出,通常都會叫一個煲仔蔬菜,膽拖另一小炒。今期新菜係泰式炸鰈魚,即管試吓。泰式酸辣汁炸鰈魚 $69話咁快上菜,心𥚃有點不安,莫非是預先整好會攤到凍曬?食落又唔係喎,魚是暖的,脆口好味。面層舖滿了酸芒果、洋蔥、花生、蔥同埋泰式辣汁,好香好惹味。魚又夠大條,真人靚過上鏡。有泰菜餐廳的水準,都只是收六十幾蚊,窮人恩物。另一個煲仔菜我叫左,蝦干魚肚浸娃娃菜 $64 。呢個餸就相對冇咁抵食,得少少蝦乾同魚肚,其餘都是娃娃菜,低成本製作。味道是可以的,咸淡適中。但是如果佢俾多幾條蝦乾,我會滿意DD。叫小菜加 $19 有飯同飲品,都尚算合理。奶茶同咖啡都是得的。坐吓坐吓,原來出面已經堆滿等位的人,果然係打工仔的飯堂。有 service 冇加一,呢點十分欣賞,支持!
