📝 Overall review:
— Had a great experience here and would totally recommend others to try out this spot too if you’re around Wanchai and are looking for a good value for money dinner set! Set dinners for under $500 hkd are hard to come by nowadays especially in the HK Island area. Their lunch sets also start at just $𝟭𝟵𝟴 𝗵𝗸𝗱!
— To start off, we had the 𝙐𝙎𝘿𝘼 𝘽𝙚𝙚𝙛 𝙏𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙚 and 𝙋𝙖𝙣-𝙛𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙙 𝙁𝙤𝙞𝙚 𝙂𝙧𝙖𝙨 which were so well executed and delicious. The tartare was perfectly seasoned and fresh, and went perfectly with the crunchy toast slices. The foie gras was creamy with a buttery texture.
— The highlight of the meal were definitely the 𝙐𝙎𝘿𝘼 𝙋𝙧𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙥𝙡𝙤𝙞𝙣 and 𝘿𝙪𝙘𝙠 𝙇𝙚𝙜 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙞𝙩. Portions were very generous and both dishes were incredibly tasty. The duck leg had a rich, savoury flavour with a hint of sweetness from the fat and spices to balance it out. It was super tender, with a melt-in-your-mouth texture. The pickled vegetables went perfectly with the duck as they helped cut through the grease nicely. The striploin was seared to a perfect medium-rare, and was so juicy with a strong meaty flavour. The mashed potato was creamy and buttery too, and was perfect alongside the steak.
— The 𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙣𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩 was the best way to end the meal. The chestnut was smooth, fragrant and not overly sweet either. Loved the buttery aroma and crunch on the tart shell too!
