To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

今日黎開大角咀，諗住求其搵間茶餐廳食過晚餐就算。其實佢晚餐都有幾多選擇，叫咗個蔥油雞扒腸仔飯，個飯嚟到，得半塊雞扒同一條腸仔。我問店員點解塊雞扒得一半，店員答我話嗰度係一塊完整雞扒冇切過，見到塊雞扒有一半係平口，好明顯係切開左。個店員直頭冇理我就行開咗，完全沒有諗住幫我跟進嘅意欲，真係離晒大譜！ ！最後既然冇人理我，我唯有飯都唔食，谷鬼氣我谷劈低低錢就離開。真係冇諗過到今時今日仲有呢啲咁嘅店舖！我唔要求碟飯好大碟但係都要合理呀！
