To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

由於訂枱只有六點半,為免遲到,一班同事唯有坐的士趕往食店。今次當然不會錯過海鮮蒸氣鍋,每道食材都是新鮮奉上,只需蒸煮數分鐘,熱辣辣,香噴噴的美食就在我們眼前,非常簡單方便。第一道是薄切肥牛,一點也不肥,蒸完一分鐘,揭蓋攪混,再蒸多一分鐘,即可進食。我們還點了龍蝦、龍躉片、刀貝等,各類海鮮不只賣相新鮮,蒸煮後更是味道鮮甜,尤其是貝殼類食物更帶有海水味,無須添加任何醃料,已經十分美味。除了海鮮,原來蔬菜類也可蒸,一樣不失鮮味。最後打開蒸碟,之前蒸過的食材汁液一點也不浪費,點滴溜到鍋底,自然成為粥底的天然調味,不須添加鹽,即可品嘗惹味排骨粥。
