西灣河碼頭隔鄰最近新開了一間日式串燒店,小店裝潢滿有日式居酒屋的風味,當中加入了一點時尚元素,偏暗的環境配上柔和的燈光,感覺悠閒中帶點氣派;店內設有僻靜的獨立廂房,坐擁180度海景,在裡邊享用美食實為一樂也。細閱餐牌,這裏提供的菜式種類頗多,前菜、沙律、湯品和熱食均有供應,而作為主打的日式串燒,選擇更是多元化,讓人三心兩意,拿不定主意。甘蝦塩漬,細細隻軟嫩的甜蝦撈上蒜香醬汁,鮮甜惹味,美國安格斯肉眼火喉控制剛好,肉味濃郁,咬落鬆軟多汁。赤雞皮燒得剛好夠乾身,但又不會過硬,酥脆油香,火候拿捏得十分準確,已很久沒遇過這麽有質素的燒雞皮了。赤雞肝入口軟潤,甘香酥化,配上甜香照燒汁,更顯惹味。月見紫蘇免治雞棒,自家製的免治雞棒,入口鬆軟多汁,帶著淡淡的紫蘇清香,蘸上日本雞蛋和醬油撈成的醬汁,添上了濃香滑溜,更是美味。大蔥豚面頰燒得外焦內嫩,肉香爽口。豚肉蘆筍卷,薄薄的豚肉捲著爽脆露筍,入口清爽中帶點肉香,口感不俗。燒豬腸外皮酥脆,内裡甘香,脂香滿瀉,愛好內臟的筆者當然忍不住再來一客。燒明太子配上青瓜片,青瓜片中和了明太子的濃膩,鹹香中見清爽,口感豐富,用來送酒實在一流。關東煮,油揚、豆腐、蒟蒻

整晚的出品都十分高質,個人覺得質素更可與銅鑼灣某元祖級日式串燒店一較長短,加上店家細心的以熱石爐為串燒保溫,讓客人可摸住酒杯底慢慢享用,十分專業貼心。收費雖屬中高檔定價,但以味道,論環境,談招呼都算很合理,絕對值得一試,筆者和朋友已在約定下次再來Encore歡聚一番。
