To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. 因為婆婆住在附近,我和爸媽不時都會來這附近跟她飲茶,所以我來過這間酒樓很多次了,可是最近幾次飲茶的時候,都覺得這裏的質素和點心都大不如前。今天來的時候,酒樓地下剛好在拜神,於是地下和一樓近電梯位置煙味彌漫,把人薰得頭昏腦脹。雖然明白酒樓拜神想擇個良辰吉日,但顧客的用餐環境顯然未被顧及,個人覺得得不償失。今天來的時候是兩點左右,吃下午茶。吃過的點心之中,要數叉燒腸粉(大點)最差強人意,腸粉不夠滑嫩,色澤暗啞,倒比較像粉皮;叉燒肥瘦不均,肥肉居多,而且味道帶酸,不新鮮。銀蘿脆皮腸(特點),外觀還不錯,味道還好,但裏面的脆皮不夠脆,令口感有差。豉椒排骨蒸粉皮,份量十足,但粉皮吸收了太多油,太油膩。春卷一般。家鄉煎薄罉(中點),上菜時已經冷了,令口感沒有預期的好。魚肉釀茄瓜(中點),較正常,鹹度適中。雞蛋豬腳薑(大點),味道太淡,而且頗油膩。生煎菜肉包(大點),云云點心中較為可取,沒有烤焦或不夠熱,不錯。雙皮奶,不夠細滑,表面明顯有氣泡。我們一共叫了12-13個點心,結帳時大約是$270,價格適中。總括來說,這裏價格可接受,對附近街坊來說也很方便,但環境和食物質素頗差,以同區酒樓來說,一定不是
