Cucumbers are nice and crunchy but very plain as the sesame sauce is the Japanese bottled ones. Pretty small portion too but nice appetizer I guess.
The five flower tea has a perfect balance of sweet and bitter that I highly recommend.
As for the dumplings, all are pretty big and filled generously. The wrapper is thin and sturdy but chewy too since it’s handmade and so tasty with the surprisingly flavorful and savory filling of assorted mushrooms and carrot. Adding some vinegar allows for the dumpling’s flavor to be reborn with tangy notes.
I changed from Shanghai noodles to mixian and so happy about that decision. The mixian is extremely slippery and bouncy and very refreshing despite being very tender and soft. There are also some seasonal vegetables (in this case cabbage) in the noodles. The pork bone soup is also very very good, rich yet clear; I finished the whole bowl!
Portion is sufficient but not too filling, I imagine dumplings with meat will be more filling. However, $55 for this is very reasonable and I will definitely be back.

💬 Overall, the lunch sets are nice but looking at the portion of appetizer given, a la carte might be the better option. But loved their dumplings and surprisingly tasty noodles and soup too. Recommend to people nearby but they also have other stores you can check out.
