Bun Ca (燒三文魚撈檬) $98
was afraid the noodles would be dry and hard to mix but surprisingly not. there was sufficient oil on the bottom that made it glossy and smooth, although it did get a bit oily towards the end.
both pieces of salmon is grilled deliciously, the skin is crispy, chewy and flavorful. the outside is charred nicely so the meat has a pleasant crunch to it, inside is a but over cooked but not dry at all. especially enjoyed the garlic mince on top as well. the fish is also very worthy for the price, 2 thick quality pieces for less than $100 is quite the steal!
vermicelli is springy and fragrant, don’t forget to add the spicy vinegar/oil on the table, definitely needed to give the noodles some flavor. the additional carrots, cucumbers and pickles also help add crunch and acidity to the somewhat oily dish.

💬 Overall, highly recommend this place for vietnamese food. i came at 12:30 and there was plenty of empty seats. the bowls of everything is quite large so the portion may appear larger but i finished 3/4 of the vegetables and my own noodles happily, although i don’t normally have a large stomach.
