Restaurant: 素來素往

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 筆者在今年一月初的時候來過用餐,朋友頗為用餐,所以近日再來光顧。當日獲安排坐在較為近拿取食物區的桌子,不少食客在身邊走來走去。筆者當晚會星期一,不少食客也響應 “Green Monday”,過來吃晚餐。晚市自助餐入座起計90分鐘,平日每位為$128,不設加一。餐廳更有優惠,五人同行,一人免費。如果五個人來用餐,平日晚餐每人大約$100 元。。每人桌上都會有一個碟子,整頓晚餐主要用該碟子拿取食物,然後再享用。吃過一輪後,筆者喜愛用紙巾抹去碟上的醬汁,才去拿新一輪的食物。近日天氣又濕又熱,餐廳推出了不少時令菜式,例如夏枯草、西洋菜湯、綠豆沙等,清熱又消暑。夏枯草為熱飲,剛入座時可以先盛載一杯,待飲品慢慢變涼。另外,享用自助晚餐的食客,也可以享用罐裝汽水和盒裝茶飲。餐廳的招牌菜式為口水雞,造型維妙維肖。口水雞的質感和真雞肉頗為近似,更有素雞腳在旁邊。這款菜式味道刺激,辣度約有十小辣。另外,也會有其他冷盤和沙律,如冰鎮苦瓜、涼拌木耳。炎炎夏日,吃一口涼菜,頗為消暑。炸物會不定時出爐,是日炸物為素雞鎚和素鰻魚。新鮮熱辣的炸物又香又脆,而且素鰻魚更會有少許魚味,頗為有趣。順便一提,有不少素食菜式都

最後,當然要吃甜品了,包括有滑溜的豆腐花、涼粉、西瓜片、桂花糕、南瓜糕、綠豆糕等。筆者最愛吃豆腐花和涼粉雙拼。
