To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. We had to visit Sheung Wan so came here for lunch without any reservation. Service was bad as usual but it was ok because we were visiting for the food itself. We ordered some relatively expensive dishes and dim sum.No fork/knife was served to us and we had to use our fingers to remove the lobster meat from the shell. I was so surprised that they used fake crab sticks for this relatively expensive dish! The fish maw was ok. We didn't expect high quality/thick fish maw at such a price anyway. The soup was ok too and it was really hot and clear. The dumpling wrap was really thin. There was some winter-melon like mash inside the dumpling.

It was the worst dish of the meal! The beef was of very very poor quality like those served as steak for 茶餐廳雜扒餐. They were even worse than those at McDonald's. Although the texture was not rough, the beef was totally free of beef flavour. I felt like I was eating minced pork pie. The sauce had a very weak black pepper flavour. We were cheated by the photo on the menu which looked so appealing.

We wanted to eat more vegetables so ordered this. When we saw the portion, we were so disappointed. The ingredients were also too average to justify the cost. There were so little dried scallops and dried shrimps.

When it arrived, I was quite amazed at the portion but actually there were some choy sum underneath. Quality was very soso: the char siu was nothing compared with those at 好燒味 while the roast goose was very very soso.

楊枝甘露 was ok, although there could have been more ingredients. It was actually quite expensive when you consider the ingredients vs the cost. 

We were very disappointed with the food today. Don't think we would go back anymore. There were a lot of other much better choices nearby.
