老友約食飯,若是男的多,大多數會去炒幾味,但若是女多,很多時會選擇吃放題或自助餐,這晚我們往吃自助餐。好友相約到金域假日,竟然是我從未光顧過的酒店,入內走走看看,一間老牌酒店,能保持其活力,絕對不容易,尤其是在尖沙嘴區,酒店林立,競爭劇烈,是一個競技場。吃自助餐,依個人習慣,喜歡先巡一週才開動,赫然發現款式和種類,包羅萬有,絕對可以與同級對手週旋,這誠是食客之褔。原來我們剛遇上他們的「滋味海鮮七重奏」,一星期七天,每天不同主題,有生蠔,三文魚,蟹,帶子,龍蝦,大虎蝦和鮑魚,這晚的主題是蟹。蟹的冷盤菜式頗受歡迎,最多人「光顧」的是麵包蟹,一大盤冷盤麵包蟹,轉眼差不多掃光,幸好補充亦算快,當然喇!蟹肉結實,味鮮兼有蟹膏,也是我的首選,其餘的蟹肉粟米青瓜沙律,蟹肉牛油梨芒果杯也很清新開胃。除了蟹的冷盤,自選沙律和冷盤也有不少選擇,我試了煙三文魚,西班牙辣腸,水牛芝士配番茄,還有韓國泡菜,火腿,冷扒茄子等,每樣試一件也不得了。超喜歡吃生蠔,尤其是即開的新鮮生蠔,這晚有來自法國的生蠔,為方便輪候客人,每人每次只可取三隻,這也很合理,再者,喜歡也不能多吃,要留空間給其他食物。無可否認,生蠔非常新鮮
