To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 哎呀生日,找食,要平,要折,又唔失禮,又未試過,西、中、日、混,又要就腳,病情又發作,大作戰,最後一晚想放棄尋,求其不想再躊躇,不如去合和薈軒,但又控制唔到,重新在openrice尋,中莱,飲茶,終於俾我找到,原來八月花在銅鑼灣開咗,真係背,咁都不知,美心出品必屬佳品,起碼衛生淨潔,有心做,其中翠園是我飯堂。來到,裝修有中國味道,又不俗氣,前部份無枱布,較年青化,後部份大堂有枱布,有水晶燈,布梳化椅,豪氣,一看有海景,遠少少可望維園,當日晴朗,未食,已心開,再加優美清雅藍花碟,配翠綠茶壼~古雅,更加滿意加分。開胃前菜$15,毛豆,花生,咸酸菜,雲耳,花椒麻香,最耍家,係食不停口!义油雞飯$52,半肥瘦义燒最正,今次飯較腍,生煎梅菜肉炸銀絲卷$41,用竹籃上枱,別緻,銀絲卷外皮香脆,豬肉略少,梅菜略腍,汁帶甜,青瓜解膩,但總體也可。鑊仔煎釀三寶$43,出名大大件,紅青椒墨魚蝦膠,豆腐大粒蝦米豬肉,茄子鲮魚肉餡,保持水準。羊肚菌魚湯鮮竹卷$35,見羊肚菌(貴嘢)才叫,爽爽地,魚湯夠味,鮮竹夠多層,無肉我較喜歡。還有張枱夠濶,枱布整潔,壓下舒服,坐2小時,行行維園,悠閒!
