To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 潮庭最近於將軍澳中心開了新店,屬美心集團旗下餐廳,主打新派潮菜。因出席聚餐者眾,家人特意安排了一廳房作耍樂進餐之用。大朋友可攻城;小朋友可跑跳,當然更盡興。 這份供 12 人享用的開心宴,內含九道菜,定價 $3,980,包茶芥加一及啤酒汽水,但另收前菜費用,有點奇怪?!潮州滷水五彩拼顧名思義內含五款滷水菜餚,主角鵝片軟腍足味;墨魚彈牙不韌。豆腐因置底而盡吸滷水汁,味道難免稍鹹。 錦繡杏片花姿丸賣相圓潤飽滿,杏片給香;花姿給彈;雀巢給脆。 翡翠玉帶炒蝦仁製作平實,以「美心水準」而言不論玉帶及蝦仁均算細隻,食味亦偏淡。 姬松茸螺頭燉湯湯料豐足,湯汁醇厚濃郁,筆者接連享用了兩碗始能滿足。 清蒸沙巴大海斑魚香達標,但肉質偏韌。蒸魚豉油理應帶有甜味,但成品口味明顯過鹹。脆皮炸子雞外皮微脆,肉質嫩滑度只屬中規中矩。 潮陽炒絲苗其實是惹味的欖菜炒飯,少吃滋味。 金菇炆伊麵麻油味相當重,基本上蓋過其他味道。 鴛鴦紫米露最大問題是出品不夠熱,味道亦比預期清淡。 整體來說,這份「開心宴」貫徹美心一向穩健的水準,菜餚味道有交代,但又未能帶來驚喜,適合作為家常飯局的地點。 ****************
