To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今晚一行六人去咗試呢間新餐廳, 訂位嘅時候已經同經理確定預留咗一隻片皮鴨同埋一個螃蟹濃湯米粉煲。點知食飯前一晚打去確定留位, 聽電話嘅人居然話我哋冇預留到任何嘢咁算啦,最尾都搞掂。 諗住開開心心食餐飯,點知呢度啲樓面好似全部都冇經驗咁。 嗌啤酒汽水等15分鐘要追先黎,冇人會識得幫你睇吓使唔使加茶換水。 最令我無言係我哋嗌咗螃蟹濃湯米粉煲, 侍應幫忙分幾碗用咗10分鐘都未分完,碗粉嚟到我哋面前已經由熱變暖。聞落仲有啲腥腥地。佢仲唔知點解淨係分左4碗 🥺 唔知係咪時運高睇我哋唔到, 明明我哋有六個人 跟住個侍應就話個鍋仲有啲粉可以分多兩碗⋯ 如是者,又用多10分鐘⋯最尾分咗兩碗湯+ 1 份蟹腳 + 1啖米粉 。有幾個朋友嚟試完都同我講咗service係差啲,今次親身感受完 , 唔會想再嚟食物嚟講,dry aged 片皮鴨真係特別同好食,鴨胸肉軟腍鴨皮鬆脆 。其他嘢,中規中矩, 冇邊樣印象特別深刻。
