To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

麻甩佬的午飯....

本約了久未見面的老友聚舊吃個午飯的，但她臨時要被老細徵召開會故要忍痛放我飛機....頓變成一支公的我，唯有孤獨地去吃我的麻甩午餐....這裡仍是十年如一日，一到午飯時段便馬上成為一眾麻甩佬的飯堂。放目瞧來，一整間店不是擠滿像我的中年獨身漢，便是在附近開工的地盤工人大哥....一大碟鹵水鵝拼豬頭肉飯，吃得人飽飽的，都還花不了五十大洋，而且嗒落鹵水味足濃郁，鵝肉厚身不韌紥實；豬頭肉皮爽肉嫩，一向是吾之至愛也....最近要介食豆腐，所以就與之無緣了；醃菜沒見死鹹還是甜甜哋的，可以放心食多幾口....禁食了一段時候，間唔中來放縱一下也是件樂事。索性來一大個鵝肝切件上，入口粉嫩，食得太過癮。甚麼膽固醇之顧慮，全皆拋諸腦後....食完後，喝畢一碗少味足料的例水。這樣一個便宜抵食的麻甩鹵水飯，吃得人稱心滿足....
