To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 最愛龍蝦嘅女皇,沉晚同我講彩福嘅龍蝦節又黎啦,咁我就醒目地帶佢直踩紅磡彩福實行龍蝦略紅磡彩福餐廳入口有花園感,相信為配合童話婚禮而設。入坐後馬上睇到龍蝦節嘅餐紙每斤$88,唔食就傻,點龍蝦前我們又發現最近電視節目介紹過嘅花生豆苗,所以就點左海皇醬花生苗玉瓜炒牛柳絲。花生苗呢個食材好特別,除左有芽菜嘅爽脆之外仲多咗股花生香,而且配上海皇醬炒牛柳絲,就更見惹味。接住就係每次黎都點嘅燒味部嘅金牌叉燒拼油雞 ,肥瘦格什嘅叉燒外層掛有香甜嘅蜜汁,入口即化。今晚主角上埸上湯龍蝦加伊麵,單看賣相豐富非常,但今晚龍蝦唔夠大隻無乜肉食,所以對女皇黎講當然未能盡興,但興幸師傅已將龍蝦精華煮入湯汁,加上伊麵,真係唸起都回味。臘味糯米飯,煙un飯米口感,可能唔係瓦煲,所以有種唔夠香嘅感覺。最後我地以可愛嘅香芒小魚布甸同滋潤桃膠燉紅蓮為呢餐劃上完美嘅句號啦一
