I was meeting a friend for lunch to catch up with him since it has been awhile since we last met up. We agreed to meet up at Sheung Tak Plaza as he stayed nearby there. He suggested to have lunch at 101 Taiwanese restaurant as the price was reasonable and price quality was up to the mark. They offered set lunch and there were alot of selection for it, such as rice, noodles and hotplate etc. Set lunch comes with a free drink as well. Bubble milk tea - I ordered the original flavour milk tea. Bubble pearl were chewy and smooth. Milk tea was smooth and tea taste was fragrant as well. It would be better if the drink was colder.
Minced meat rice with pork chop - Just like any Taiwanese style minced meat rice, there were piles of minced meat on top of the rice. Minced meat were flavourful and tender, going well with the rice. Pork chop was soft and the skin was grilled till crispy.
Melting cheese tofu - There were melting cheese spread over tofu and the combination was quite good. Tofu was served hot and soft, ,melting cheese was cheesy and creamy as well.
