My friends recommended KAHEE Japanese Restaurant for dinner after a hike in Yuen Long. KAHEE Japanese Restaurant is a homey (small) restaurant run by a family, which serves delicious Japanese meal sets and snacks.There were so many different sets that I wanted to try, but this Soak Cooked Rice in Soup with Snow Crab got my eyes! There were so many different sets that I wanted to try, but this Soak Cooked Rice in Soup with Snow Crab got my eyes! As I don’t usually find this kind of item on the menu of other Japanese restaurants, and it was a really nice choice for dinner.

The soup broth was absolutely amazing! A very hearty homemade soup that was so flavoured, yet not overly salty nor tasted like MSG soup. The snow crab pieces were quite meaty and tasted fresh. Nom nom! The silky runny egg made up for the amount of protein and made the whole pot very filling and satisfying.
