My friends and I are visiting from New York and have been disappointed with the Hong Kong restaurants within our budget. However, Oyster Bar & Grill is truly the exception. It not only has great food, but also elegant decor, and a cozy ambiance. We started our meal with a dish of Oysters, which came with a glass of Prosecco (Italian Champagne). They were extremely fresh and beautifully presented. For our entrees, we had the lamb chop, rib eye steak, and Branzino fish (a sea bass imported from Italy). To say the least, everyone was pleased. Finally, some Western style dishes with real flavor! It was not only delicious, but nicely presented. The meat dishes came with mashed potatoes and vegetables grilled with olive oil. You can immediately tell that Oyster only uses the freshest ingredients. They also have an extensive selection of wine and a great dessert menu. We tried the mouth watering "chocolate volcano", cheescake, and apple tart. Everything is truly authentic and delicious! So, if you are looking for real Western style dishes in an elegant setting, for a great price (less than $1000HKD for four people, including, appetizer, entree, and dessert) you have to try this place.
