While looking around to see if there are any nice restaurants nearby, we chanced upon this newly opened restaurant. 王朝潮順館 was located at Tai Tsun Street, Tai Kok Tsui, where alot of nice restaurants were located. Their menu was very comprehensive, offering a wide range of dishes such as appetizers, small dishes, seafood, soup, braised meat, vegetables, rice or noodles and drinks etc.
霍山石斛老雞 - This soup was very nourishing and clear, with no MSG tasted. It absorbed the essence of the ingredients used, which contained chicken feet, pork and chicken etc. It was not oily at all, which was to our liking.
Fish skin in ginger and onion slices - It was a cold dish, and fish skin was very crunchy and chewy, able to taste the freshness. Ginger and onion helped to enhance the taste and was slightly spicy, very appetizing.
We ordered a plate of side dishes platter, consisting of jellyfish slices and sliced cuttlefish. Jellyfish was very chewy and cuttlefish was chewy and smooth as well. Sauce was provided to dip onto it to bring out the flavour.
Braised goose - The chef was generous with the portion, with the goose meat cut into slices and beancurd resting at the bottom. Braised goose was juicy and tender, absorbing the essence of the gravy sauce. Beancurd was soft as well.
